A Blessing Times Two | Monica McNeill Photography, Dallas Newborn Photography, Visual Storytelling

Memory is not my strong suit. The first year of my first born is all a blur.

When you become a parent you are all in. Some you expect, some you do not. But all of it is all consuming.

You are so busy finding your bearings, or the bottle, or the diaper, or another change of clothes, there isn't always much time for being still and very little opportunity to capture you + them.

We were together.
I forget the rest.
-Walt Whitman

But you + them captured is what you will cherish every step of the way because no one can truly prepare you for how quickly you will move from one stage to the next and how quickly you will forget where you just came from.

And this is why in my newborn sessions you will see real people, real life, and real memories instead of props, poses and picture perfect. My newborn sessions are meant to take you back to the beginning of your story by collecting all those details you just might forget.

I can only imagine that when your blessing is doubled so is the rest. These sweet boys are on their way to three months old and their newborn selves are but a memory as they grow in strength and love.
