Where The Boys Are | A Project of my Heart

Last week, I was listening to Episode 16 of Elise Gets Crafty, and Cortnee Loren Brown said,

"As long as you are creating from being yourself there is a space for that and there are people who are hungry to hear what you have to say."

Knowing that in less than a week the project of my heart that I have worked on continously over the last few months was going live I thought to myself, I sure hope that's true.

Today we went live and it was more than I could have ever hoped for. I am blown away by the response Where The Boys Are has received in its first day.

As I've navigated the waters of mothering only boys this last decade I've gravitated to those doing the same because it reminds me that I am not alone in this journey.

Do you know, I still get asked if I'm going to try for a girl? As if because I have a house full of boys my life is somehow less complete. As I smile and shake my head no I think to myself...

Do you realize how full my heart is?

Do you understand how they have changed me for the better?

Do you know how much laughter is in my oh so very loud home?

I know.

I've found so many others that do too.

And now we have come together to give this journey a voice. I invite you to come along. You can find us on Facebook and on our website, Where The Boys Are.

We are women raising men telling their stories with pictures and words.
